All Luanimals are made from high-quality cotton jersey. This fabric consists of 95% cotton and 5% elastane. This combination of materials makes Luanimals particularly soft, breathable, easy to care for, and skin-friendly, so they are comfortable to wear even on sensitive skin.

The small amount of elastane provides the necessary elasticity and shape retention, ensuring the clothing fits comfortably, offers plenty of freedom of movement, and retains its shape even after frequent washing. Cotton jersey is also easy to care for, durable, and characterized by a pleasantly light feel – ideal for everyday wear.

With this choice of materials, we combine comfort, quality and sustainability, ensuring that every Luanimal not only looks beautiful but also feels really good.

Our sizes are based on children's ages, making it quick and easy for you to find the right size. For baby bodysuits, we give the size in months, while for children's shirts and sweaters, we use years. This system has proven particularly useful, as many of our products are popular gifts for birthdays, christenings, and other occasions.

Since every child grows at their own pace, sizes can vary slightly. If you're unsure which size is best, feel free to send us a message – we're happy to advise you personally and help you choose. This way, you're guaranteed to find the perfect favorite item.

The easiest way to order is directly from our online shop. There you can conveniently select your favorite items and complete your order with or without a customer account – whichever is most convenient for you.

Shipping within Germany costs €3.99 for one item and €5.99 for two or more items. Shipping within Germany is free for orders over €100.

For international orders, we charge a flat shipping fee of €9.99. However, shipping is free for orders over €100.

Yes, the seam allowance (SA) is already included in all our sewing patterns wherever it's needed. This means you can cut out the pieces directly and start sewing immediately, without having to adjust or add anything.

This saves you time, avoids mistakes when cutting, and allows you to concentrate fully on sewing and designing your individual favorite piece.

Paper sewing pattern:

The paper patterns (sent by post) include a large pattern sheet with 6 double sizes, a colorfully illustrated step-by-step guide with information on size determination and also tips & tricks on fabric selection and processing.

Our e-books contain Everything you need for your sewing project. Just like the paper pattern, it includes the pattern sheet in sizes 86–152 cm (6 double sizes), which, thanks to the integrated layering function, can be used individually or as a complete set. You also receive detailed sewing instructions that guide you through the project step by step.

The files are available in several formats: as an A4 file for home printers, as an A0 file for plotting at a copy shop, and as a projector file that can be projected directly onto the fabric. Cutter or plotter files for details such as eyes, teeth, or appliqués are also included, as well as a file for calibrating the projector. This makes the pattern ideal for individual sewing projects, upcycling ideas, or creative gift ideas.
